Hi, Daniel! have you considered consulting a nutritionist-dietitian? I'm speaking from experience because I am one in the Philippines and it would be easier if you contact one (it could be from your community, or someone practicing in your area). It's nice to know that you're familiar with some of the diet guidelines that you need to follow and calories, but it would be nice if you're also familiar with the portion sizes you need to follow to get enough of carbohydrates, protein and fat, to help with weight loss and sufficient fiber too since this can help with managing your hypertension and aiding in weight loss. In connection with that, I would like to also add that being conscious about your fat source choices would matter so eating lean meat, and eating healthy fat and getting less of saturated and trans fatty sources would be best too. You can also try reading guidelines from the American Heart Association, like this one: https://www.heart.org/en/health-topics/high-blood-pressure/changes-you-can-make-to-manage-high-blood-pressure/managing-blood-pressure-with-a-heart-healthy-diet and visit the WHO website as they also give out initial steps in managing hypertension and weight loss through proper diet. :) Addressing your diet and weight, can also help with your sleep apnea :) hope this helps and good luck with you health journey! :)
