Even the US Government agrees!
The advisory committee for the DHHS dietary guidelines have come out with a much more plant-based set of recommendations. They have moved beans, peas and legumes (essentially pulses) to the top of the protein source list. Soy, nuts and seeds are in second place, seafood in third, and meat poultry and dairy in 4th (and last).
