I don’t know what I would do without my floating cheese thermometer! Many times the only difference between two cheeses is the temperature they were cultured at. It is so very important! Yes! You definitely are going to need one, maybe several! I have a floating one and a instant one that I have to hold but gives me a more exact reading for making different cheeses. Another tool that is indispensable is a multi-timer. So you can time more than one thing at a time.
