Do you taste the red wine if you’re not a wine drinker?

If my husband doesn’t like wine should I be worried if I use red? Will you taste it if you’re not a red wine drinker??? I don’t want to spoil the soup if I use red???

No... it has a very distinct taste but does not taste like red wine. Once you taste it you will know. I can't quite put my finger on how to describe it
