What can I use instead of black pepper?
I'm allergic to black pepper and was wondering what it did in this recipe, detered flies, drew moisture, ect... and also what I could use instead.

I believe it's for flavoring. Are you allergic to chili flakes? If so, just leave it out.

It’s just flavouring afaik
