I have watched several of my friends and family members go through chemo, and I suggest that you ask your doctor for a less nauseous course of treatment. It is just as effective and way more comfortable. Anyway, simple steamed brown rice, sweet or savory, with plant milk or broth or nothing, seems like the best option to me. But when chemo is over, you'll never want to eat it again. The very thought of it will make you heave. God bless you on your journey. I hope you will seriously consider alternatives to chemo. However, if chemo is your decision, there is a simple thing that you can do to make it more effective so you can have fewer doses. Powdered clove capsules. If you make them yourself and put one drop of DMSO in each capsule, it is even more effective than the plain clove powder. Again, God bless you. In all that is ahead, always remember that cancer is God's way of purifying your character to be worthy of even greater blessings, light, and glory. He loves you, and this experience is absolutely required for your greater success in all of your lives yet to come. You are never alone. Though the tears fall and the pain is intense, remember, it would be different if a different way would bring the same growth of character, but a different way would not work. If there had been a different way, Christ would not have been crucified, but there was no other way. Face your cross as He did, and know that beyond this experience is a better life, a better you. I love you.
