Meal Planning!

Looking for fellow "Walmart Meal Planners." Trying to save money for a car and struggling, so trying to cheap out on groceries without just not eating good. Example: we do big bulk meals that last days. Cornbread from scratch and chili. Meatloaf and sides. Tacos! Just feeding myself and my partner, a meal using 2.25lbs of ground lasts 3 to 5 days depending on what I make. Sometimes longer if I eat chicken (I have GERR but like the foods I aint supposed to have so I manage my meals so I can still enjoy my food). Im looking for cost effective suggestions - ive done poor man's potato soup for example using cream of chicken, canned new whole potatoes, diced Idaho potatoes (from the 5lb bag), green onion, sweet onion, shredded cheddar, and seasonings. Ive done the same or similar for green bean casserole, mac and cheese casserole, were had sloppy joe casserole, etc. All recipe ideas are welcome! Ill either cook it for myself or both of us. He has bad teeth so need ultra soft foods - like the next meal im making is beef stew using ground beef.

First the above dish is ham bone soup, this is old school veggie abc soup (like you would have at lunch in school)

Lasagna

Monster Cheech
Bag of frozen ravioli, can of spaghetti sauce (or your own homemade), basil, garlic powder, frozen meatballs, a little parm. Also water. Old stove top recipe from Publix. One pan. (probably can search for it) Or just cook ravioli in salted water, drain and put in casserole dish. Pour meat and sauce over it - add some mozzarella and bake for 30 minutes at 350° till cheese is melted. Lol. Poor man's lasagna without the $40in separate ingredients! (I like onions, green peppers and mushrooms in my sauce, too) Or substitute Italian sausage for the beef.
