New to this

Hi all new to veganism ( is that a word) nutritionally wise what are some staples I can incorporate into my meals to make sure I’m getting what I need

I would say definitely make sure you get enough protein from tofu, tempeh, legumes, whole grains, leafy greens, etc. If you don’t want to eat processed food than that would be enough, but if you can than there are a lot of protein rich meat substitutes out there. Some I would recommend are beyond meat and gardein.

Flaxseed, tofu/tempe/edamame, lentils/chickpeas, oats/quinoa, nuts/seeds, greens, berries.. just to name a few. I use the Daily Dozen app, created by medical researcher Dr. Greger, to make sure I get all the nutrients I need daily.
