Eggs and dairy products

I've met a nutritionist in the grocery store who told me that I should not eat eggs and dairy products together because it is complicated to digest. This bums me out since I usually eat eggs with yogurt or some type of fresh cheese for breakfast. Is this true? Should I avoid this combination? How much damage am I doing to my health?

I would get a second opinion. That sounds silly. Also, you don't need any particular certification to be a "nutritionist." A dietician is credentialed and registered, but a nutritionist can be any dope who wants to pretend that they know things.

That doesn't seem right, lots of recipes, especially baking have eggs & dairy combined

Personally I think it's b*******. People have been eating eggs and dairy together for the entire length of human history. I am pretty sure our bodies are adapted to this. If it is complicated to digest, it's definitely not too complicated for our bodies to handle. And we are all individuals and no one is a statistic. It is important to observe and listen to your own body. Random strangers are just not qualified to tell you how your body works.

I would definitely echo what Adrienne said. If you're worried, speak to a registered dietician about it but it doesn't sound right. It can be a scary world out there when you're trying to live healthy and trying to decipher what is true and what isn't!

That's what I was thinking, like a lot of recipes and dishes are with both cheese and eggs, or milk and eggs so how come it's wrong... Thanks for the support guys. And I agree with what @Laurel said it's important to listen to our bodies

This is BS. The only reason those would be hard to digest is if you have an allergy or sensitivity. Undergrad + Master's in Nutrition + 4 yrs working as a nutritionist and I have literally never heard this. Logically, it just doesn't stand up.
