What are your tips on how to preserve foods on a camping trip from spoiling? I am most afraid of spoiled dairy and meat.

Freeze the meat ahead of time and let it defrost throughout the trip! (I often pack frozen bacon). A good ice chest should usually work, but you can also opt to used canned meats (tuna, salmon) or cured meats (Spanish chorizo, salami) - lots of dishes you can still do with those if you’re worried!
