How can I spice my butternut squash soup? Which flavors go well with it?

I like to have as strong as possible pumpkin flavor so I am not adding a bunch of spices. I usually add cayenne pepper, allspice, nutmeg, ginger. :)

try 1/4 tsp ginger and tumeric, 1/8 tsp cinnamon, and a dash white pepper (see La Kama Spice Blend)
