What’s your favorite “unusual” pasta shape? And do you have a recipe you’d recommend?
I usually stick with linguine, penne, rigatoni, and bucatini but I see other shapes out there. What do you love??

I’ll go first with one - I did this for the first time and loooved it but had never heard of this shape! Gigli means lilies in Italian and they have a kind of trumpet shape!
I love homemade stozzapreti to go with a nice ragu, but my fave ones are buccatini - not very unusual, but I love the idea of spaghetti having holes in them🤌🏻

@Dana those are campanelle, right? I didn't know they were called gigli.
I love them also and I love trofie pasta. But it all depends on the sauce. With pesto I love trofie pasta, with bolognese sauce I use spaghetti 🍝
