Best way to defrost soup

When meal prepping broths or soups, sometimes I end up freezing them. What is the best way to defrost them in order to keep the flavor? Would it work better to transfer them to the fridge or leave them out at room temperature?

depends how soon you want to use it. If you have time, pop it in the fridge for a day or two. If it's for that night, I'd throw it in a water bath before you leave for the day.

. . . . or my most common method of "welp I forgot to do that" and drop it in a warm water bath for a few minutes to loosen the edges, the right into the soup pot. Also make sure to stir said frozen soup v. regularly or it may burn (totally have never burnt premade soup)
