I am a big fan of bacon but I am also trying to lose some weight. Should I totally avoid it or can I ate it in smaller portions? Please say yes :D

You can eat ANYTHING in smaller portions and successfully lose weight. All things in moderation! I get the thin sliced bacon to trim calories, but eat what you want as long as it fits in with the rest of your daily intake. :)

normally if you get the fatless cuts of just back bacon it's okay in small portions. Avoid streaky bacon and unsmoked if possible. you can try a healthier alternative which is common in Greek cuisine called lounza from local Polish/ Turkish shops

Have you tried Turkey bacon? Less fat and healthier. Bake in the oven on top of parchment paper for 25 minutes for crispy and 20 minutes if you like it less crispy. Dry on paper towels once done.
