Cherry, cheesecake or both?

Beginner baker here. Hello. All I've made was a banana bread, but everyone that's tried it loved it so hey i can at least follow a recipe. My grandmother loves cherries, but she also loves cheesecake. I was wondering if any of you have a cheesecake recipe that incorporates cherries into it?

Former professional baker here, if you do include cherries you're going to want to do dry ones if you want to include fresh ones it's better to have it as a topping The water content of the cherries can really mess with the solidification of the cheesecake setting

First of all - following a recipe is absolutely a skill! Congratulations on your successful banana bread!! I don’t have a recipe, but i think you could probably make a regular cheese cake recipe and then make the topping separately! Simmer some frozen cherries with sugar and then add a little cornstarch to thicken it
