I'm new to meal prep - what are your tips to get started?

I'm notoriously bad at planning my meals and my produce (especially my poor herbs) are constantly going bad. What usually happens is I have the best intentions creating a meal plan, but then the day happens and I'm tired and don't make it! I feel like meal prepping would help but not sure how to "translate" recipes into something meal-preppable. Help?

3) dont just remake the main dish (like the pasta or meat/grain) include the veggies in the meal prep container or you'll end up finding making veggies to go with this too much of a bother. 4) further to 3, sheet pan roast veggies are your friend. leefy greens dont freeze well but doing a homemade roast medly to throw in with whatever your prepping that week is a great way to make sure you have a balanced meal.

Meal prep is a great way to eat healthier and save time, but it takes time to work it into your schedule. dont feel bad if you have to take breaks from it as you get started. and try not to get into the rut of having 4 go to recipes and never diversifying. it can make dinner bring.

5) talk the meal prepping through with your partner to figure out how many meals a week you want fresh/prepped. it can be a bit repetitive if its every meal. though if your in a pinch in the mornings, a premade breakfast bowl makes the start if the day so much better. 6) further you dont necessarually need to prep the entire meal. you can prep the sides and do ingredient prep to shorten cooking time.

k first tip is dont go all in on the first go. promising yourself that you'll meal prep for the full week is a quick way to get disapointed in yourself. Start by pre making a single 4 to 8 person meal and integrate it into your week then build up. you'll need to find recipes that work for you cuz everyone has different preferences. 2) make sure you have enough Tupperware. you'll either want the single serving rectangle ones or some larger ones for the two of you. 3
