My daughter has a handful of stuffed animals that she loves. When she’s refusing to sit with us, we ask her if she can help us by taking (insert random stuffed animal) to the table. Then we sit the stuffed animal so she can see it but not close enough that she can touch it. I found that she loves helping us, so if we rephrase directions to make it sound like she’s helping us in some way, she’s super into it.
