How to thoroughly wash crock pots??

I made beef stew over the weekend because it was my niece's birthday and even though I tried washing it multiple times, I feel like I can still smell the stew. Does anyone have any tips for me?

Hey Bugs, I found that the best way to clean it is to put it in the sink, squirt in some dish soap, and fill it with hot tap water. Let it soak for 1 to 2 hours and wash it as usual.
