I usually toast dry quinoa on some olive oil before pouring the water (1:1 ratio works best for me). I am interested in how other people do it?

I soak it in water overnight, rinse it after it has done soaking, and then just cook it :) But now I am interested in how it would taste like if I toasted it - do you do it on the stove or in the oven? And how differently does it taste?
