What’s your “miracle” spice/condiment that pumps up any low-ingredient recipe?
I find spices are my favorite way to take a simple thing (like roasted or steamed broccoli) and make it super interesting!

I’ll go first with some of my favs: “Slap ya mama” seasoning is so good - discovered it in New Orleans! I also really love chili crisp (I’ll get the Lao gan ma brand, fly by Jing or I think Trader Joe’s has one now) - it’s good on anything (even chocolate ice cream). Sriracha, of course! Adding sriracha to yogurt or tahini is a super fast drizzle sauce great on anything.

Gremolata - a mixture of lemon, herbs and garlic. Lifts up any dish: meat, pasta, fish, salad...

Garlic salt! Makes plain dishes (like veggies or boiled pasta) a little more flavorful. And it goes great on buttered toast!

I discovered this awesome poultry rub spice mix (thyme, cumin, salt, black pepper, oregano, rosemary, nutmeg, curry). Even though it says poultry rub on the tin, I think it works great on anything!

hot sauce or garlic salt or lemon/limes. It's amazing what a lime does to fish tacos or chillie.
