Elimination Phase advice

Hey, I want to try the FOODMAP diet but I am not sure how. What can I eat in the elimination phase? How long should I stick to it?

The Monash app is a wonderful resource…I went through all phases starting a year and a half ago and still today use that app to avoid my trigger foods.

The elimination phase should last for 2 to 6 weeks. The elimination phase is the phase in which you follow the low FODMAP diet strictly. There are a lot of products that should not be consumed during the elimination phase such as garlic, onion, apples, dried fruits, milk, low-fat cheeses, high fructose corn syrup, honey, sugar-free confectionery, etc... You can find very useful cheatsheets online that will give you a full list of what to eat and what to avoid.
