What are your favourite microgreens or sprouts?

I have been looking in to planting my own microgreens. My favourite so far are sunflower sprouts! They are delicious and has a slight nutty flavour to it. Highly recommend!

I was gifted a growing kit for alfalfa sprouts that I use all the time! I grew up eating them so I put them on all my sandwiches and I’m salads. Direct sunlight isn’t required in my experience but I know some people like to put them in the sun for a couple hours before harvesting so they get more green but that’s not a necessary step.

That is an interesting idea, I've never thought of sprouting my own microgreens. Does the apartment need to be sunny? Because mine does not get direct sunlight :/

@rose Yes you can buy a kit online! Another option is you can always buy grow lights too. :) @Gaby Alfalfa sprouts sound amazing! I like mine in soups too. Thanks for the tip!

I've seen the kits and been interested, but I didn't grow up eating microgreens or sprouts and don't know if I'd like them. I'm a pretty big foodie though and like a lot of "weird" foods (stuff we never had growing up lol). Suggestions for trying them before I buy a kit?
