Chocolate pralines

I am making chocolate pralines as Christmas presents. How can I save them from melting during dinner time? The fridge is not an option since I want it to be a surprise.

this might sound funny or odd but do you maybe have a balcony or terrace? Since it's chilly outside it will be a perfect hideout. I do store all my drinks and some veggies on my balcony. Hope it helps :)
