Is it really necessary to knead the bread dough? If yes, can you suggest a sweet bread recipe where I don't need to knead?

I was wondering same thing. :) I saved this recipe while ago but I still didn't have chance to try it. If you make it please let me know about the results!?
Kneading the dough in bread makes the gluten in the flour elastic, so better pockets will form for the CO2 from the leavening inflate making the dough rise. Also gives the "chewy" texture in bread, Pizza crust, etc. 🙂
