Hey @Faye Kelly I think that when you come to a cake batter part you just use cake batter prepared by the instructions on the box and add cinnamon, orange zest, and almond extract that is used in this recipe.  And pour it over the pineapple.  That's how I would do it 🙂

@Faye Kelly Easiest recipe I make is on the better crocker one. Just Google upside down pineapple cake and click the first one at the top. It is soooo good!
