Instructions
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 175°C and line an 20x20 cm pan with parchment on all sides. Set aside.

Step 2
In a food processor combine the flour, sugar, salt, vanilla, almond, and butter. Pulse until just combined and the mixture starts to form a dough around the blades of the food processor.







Step 3
Press the dough into the prepared pan, using a spoon to spread the dough into an even layer.

Step 4
Sprinkle the tops of the bars generously with coarse sugar.
Step 5
Bake at 175°C for 30 to 35 minutes or until just light golden brown. Take out of the oven and allow the bars to cool completely before slicing the bars into 4x10cm.
