Mix milk with yeast until the yeast is dissolved. Then add flour, sugar, salt and egg. Beat on low speed for 3 - 5 minutes. Add cold butter bit by bit and beat for 5 more minutes.

Tranfer the dough to an oiled bowl and cover it. Let it rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size (~ 1h).

For the filling mix softened butter with the rest of the ingredients amd set aside.

Once the dough has risen knead it until it's nice and smooth. Then roll it out into a long rectangle on a well floured surface. Spread the filling on top and form it into a tight roll.

Use floss or a sharp knife to cut the dough into even pieces and put them on a baking pan lined with parchment paper. Allow them to rise for another hour.

Bake your cinnamon buns at 180°C for about 20 minutes.
