Instructions

Step 1
Melt the butter, chocolate and syrup in heavy pan. Stir an leave to cool slightly. Add the cornflakes and stir carefully so all the flakes are coated. Poor into two greaseproof lined trays and pop in fridge to set. Whip the double cream till peaks, chop the granny smith apples into thin slices. Remove the crunch from the fridge, pop one layer onto a serving plate, top with half the cream and apples, cover with the second layer and decorate with the remaining cream and apple slices
