Instructions

Step 1
Toast the oats, seeds and almonds in a dry saucepan over a medium heat for a couple of minutes, stirring frequently, until lightly browned.
Step 2
Pour the milk into the pan and stir, then add the rest of the ingredients and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring, until thickened, adding extra milk to loosen it if needed.
Step 3
Serve the oats warm with an extra sprinkle of cinnamon, flaked almonds and some extra sliced pear if you wish.
