Instructions

Step 1
In a 3 quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients squeezing juice from orange halves when adding. Stir to combine. Spices can be bundled in cheesecloth for easy removal.
Step 2
Cook on low for 2-5 hours.
Step 3
Serve in mugs garnished with cinnamon sticks, cranberries, apple slices, or orange slices.
Step 4
If desired, 1 1/2 ounces of rum or bourbon can be placed in each mug before adding the spiced cider.
