Instructions
Step 1
Unthaw puff pastry for 45 minutes, roll out to flatten.
Step 2
Cut in 1/2” strips lengthwise. Wrap around greased mold overlapping about a 1/4”. Lay seam side down on greased baking dish.
Step 3
Mix egg and 1 Tbsp water for egg wash
Step 4
Brush pastry with egg wash.
Step 5
Bake at 375 degrees for 15-18 minutes until golden brown. Let cool completely then fill pastry. Enjoy!
Step 6
For Filling:
Add butter and almond and vanilla extract to bowl
Step 7
Cream slightly softened butter and extracts
Step 8
Mix in 1 cup powdered sugar at a time, until all 4 cups are added
Step 9
Add a Tbsp Heavy Cream after each cup powdered sugar
