Instructions

Step 1
Place the potatoes into a pot with cold salted water and bring to boil. Cook until tender then strain
Step 2
Melt the butter in a pan with the garlic
Step 3
Gently stir in dairy, spring onions, parsley and nutmeh and remove from heat.
Step 4
Always mash potatoes while warm, adding warm milk mix gradually to the potatoes as you mash them
Step 5
Season well with salt and pepper and add any milk or butter where needed
Step 6
You can add some zest, spring onions, dill, mushrooms, bacon bits or sundried tomatoes.
