Step 1
Get your skillet nice and hot, and brown up that beef and sausage together. Once it's all cooked through, drain off the grease - nobody wants a soggy appetizer!

Now for the good stuff - toss in those Velveeta cubes and your seasonings. Keep stirring until everything's melted together into this amazing, cheesy mixture.
Step 3
Crank your oven to 400°F and lay out all those little rye breads on a baking sheet. Top each one with a generous scoop of your meat and cheese mixture - don't be shy!
Step 4
Pop them in the oven for about 8-10 minutes. You're looking for bubbly tops and slightly crispy bread bottoms.
