Instructions

Step 1
Heat skillet and add oil, onions, and garlic to cook until translucent.
Step 2
Move aside onion mix and cook beef making sure to season well.
Step 3
Add mushrooms and butter. Saute for 5 minutes. Omit mushrooms if you don't have any.
Step 4
Add in thyme and flour and cook down for a few minutes.
Step 5
Pour in beef broth, or whatever you're using, to the pan to deglaze.
Step 6
Stir in heavy cream, worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard, salt, pepper, and any additional seasonings you want to add.
Step 7
Simmer for about 5 minutes until thickened.
Step 8
Remove from heat and stir in sour cream to taste. Be careful, the sour cream quickly dominates the flavors. Serve over rice or noods.
