Instructions
Step 1
Cook the pasta according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.

In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautΓ© until the onion is soft and translucent.

Add the sliced mushrooms to the pan and cook until they are golden and have released their moisture.

In a small bowl, mix the cornflour with a little bit of vegetable stock to form a smooth paste.

Add the remaining vegetable stock to the pan, followed by the cornflour paste, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.

Pour in the cream, and add the sweet paprika, salt, and pepper, stirring well to combine.
Step 8
Let the sauce simmer for a few minutes until it thickens.

Add the cooked pasta and chopped parsley to the sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
Step 10
Serve hot, garnished with extra parsley if desired.
