Instructions
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350ºF

Lightly Grease 13 X 9 inch metal baking pan
Step 3
In a large bowl, combine all-purpose and whole wheat flours, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves.
Step 4
In a medium bowl, whisk together butter, eggs, honey, oil and lemon juice. Add this mixture to the flour mixture and mix until thoroughly combined. Stir in grated carrots and then ½ cup of chopped nuts, and mix well.
Step 5
Spoon into prepared baking pan, spreading evenly, and bake in preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and dry. Cool completely in pan or wire rack.
Step 6
Frost with Cream Cheese Frosting and sprinkle more chopped nuts over top.
