Tommy's Margarita

This is the easiest, tastiest margarita recipe - apparently originating at Tommy's in San Francisco. This recipe leaves out triple sec, which I think makes for a cleaner tastier drink. If really want to be cool kid, swap the tequila for mescal.

Instructions

Step 1
Prepare your glass. Wet the rim with lime. Add salt to a small plate and rub rim of glass onto plate to coat. Fill glass completely with ice.

Add tequila, lime juice and agave syrup to a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice (use a lot of ice). Cover and shake until too cold to handle.

Step 3
Strain drink into glass with fresh ice. Garnish with a lime wedge if desired. Rinse. Repeat.
