Chili

1 step
Prep:15minCook:1h 30min
Homemade chili. I used home grown tomatoes from my garden they were mainly paste tomatoes like San Marzano's and banana leg. Also, the tomato powder is just tomato skins dehydrated and ground up. (Just to give it more of a tomato flavor and thicken the sauce a bit more) All herbs are dried herbs not fresh. Hot sauce was siracha.

Instructions

Step 1
Brown meat with onions and garlic until cooked (Salt and pepper meat while cooking 1tsp each) Drain greasy and put back into pot. Then pile in everything else, stir and bring to boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 1/2 hours. (As it cooks, I'd say check your seasonings around an hour and add more if needed) Then eat. You can add sour cream and cheese if you want.
