Instructions
Step 1
Stir together all ingredients except chicken, set aside.
Step 2
Trim excess fat and extra skin from thighs. (Leave enough skin to cover only the one side.)
Step 3
Dollop mixture on thighs and spread on both sides.
Step 4
Grill on hot, oiled grill, over indirect heat with skin side down for 20 min at about 350°.
Step 5
Rotate but don't flip, continue grilling for another 15 min. Next, flip thighs to the side without skin, continue grilling for another 10 to 15 mins.
Chicken is safe to consume at an internal temp of 165°F.
Step 6
Move thighs to direct heat to crisp skin, about 5 mins. Flip to crisp up for a few more minutes. Rest for 10.
