John Anthony wines by John Anthony Truchard are a product of heritage, winegrowing and winemaking. John learned the art of growing exceptional-quality grapes in the Napa Valley from his father, before starting his own vineyard management business. John lives by the belief that to make excellent wine there must be total control from vineyard to cellar. Over a decade ago John selected specific microclimates and varietal clones to start the John Anthony label. We produce classic Napa Valley wines known for their power, restraint and balance, multiple 90+Pts scores, and critical acclaim. The John Anthony portfolio comprises AVA and sub-AVA wines, vineyard-designate sauvignon blancs, merlot, syrah and cabernet sauvignons, and Reserve programs. John is honored to be a long-time supporter of Culinary Kickoff, this year pairing the La Dame Michele Blanc de Blancs and 2017 John Anthony Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with Chef Palmer’s delicious creations.
