You can use any kind of ice cream you wish. If not using coffee ice cream I leave the instant coffee out of the crust.

Instructions

Step 1
Finely crush cookies in food processor. Add coffee and melted butter, processing after each addition.
Step 2
Generously butter a 9" pie plate. Press cookie crust mixture into pie plate and freeze.
Step 3
Soften ice cream and blend with electric mixer until even consistency. Please ice cream in freezer until thick enough to mound.
Step 4
Place ice cream in frozen crust, mounding in the center to form a peak.
Step 5
Freeze for 8-10 hours.
Step 6
Five minutes before serving remove pie from freezer and allow to stand at room temperature. Spread fudge sauce on top of ice cream. Top with whipped cream and almonds.
