Instructions
Step 1
Mix together Flour, Sugar,
Step 2
Butter, Water, Eggs (crack and whisk eggs gently in a separate large bowl)

Fold Eggs in bowl with flour, sugar and butter.

*****Mix hot water with cold water making lukewarm water , pour into bowl with other ingredients.

Put the 2 Yeast Cakes in

a small bowl 2 Tablespoons of lukewarm water with a teaspoon of sugar, totally allowing the yeast to dissolve

(The sugar activates the yeast)
Step 8
Pour the Yeast mixture in the bowl with other ingredients. Stir in gently but thoroughly.
Step 9
Cover the entire bowl with Saran or Press and Seal Wrap. Place the bowl on a counter away from drafts allowing the dough to rise.

Let it rise to top of bowl- punch the dough down with a large spoon🥄 .

Repeat this rise -punch at least two times( three is even better)

****I place my dough on top of a warm stove , elevated on top of a pot so it’s not directly in the heat. They seem to rise much better.****

****Preparing counter to roll the dough making into Rolls:
Step 14
Cover the counter with pieces of wax paper taping the edges to secure.
Step 15
Melt 1-1/2 sticks of Butter (you made need more, melt as you go). Put it to the side, you’re going to use the butter to put on the dough after you cut the Rolls and after you roll the dough in thirds making the Rolls.
Step 16
Sprinkle a small handful of flour in the counter and a small amount on the rolling pin.
Step 17
After the 2nd or 3rd rising of the dough take a third of the dough and place it on the counter. Roll the dough in the flour on the wax paper to about 1/4 inch thick cut into round shapes ; (with either a biscuit cutter or the rim of a medium sized glass)
Step 18
Put butter on each circular piece of dough and roll into thirds making it into a roll; dab with butter on top.
Step 19
Work through all the dough making it into rolls placing them on a ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 20
Heat oven to 375-400 degrees for about 15 minutes or until light golden brown.
