Cream butter (room temp), sugar, and almond extract

Sift in flour and mix in the yolk

Press mixture into pan
Step 6
Place almonds over mixture
Step 7
Beat egg white lightly and use to glaze
Step 8
Bake 20 min at 350 F
Step 9
Do not overbake
Step 10
Cool in refrigerator for at least 60 minutes
