Instructions
Step 1
Line baking pan/tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.




Step 2
Prepare ingredients.





Step 3
Mix sugar and egg whites, just until combined




Step 4
Heat mixture of egg white and sugar in a double boiler or DIY double boiler. Mix until sugar is dissolved.



Step 5
After sugar is dissolved (you can test by feeling the mixture between your fingers, it should feel smooth and sticky), remove from heat.


Step 6
Preheat oven to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.

Step 7
Beat egg white and sugar mixture with hand mixture on low speed until egg whites form soft peaks.

Step 8
Add in a little bit of grape concentrate or grapefruit juice. Mix.




Step 9
Repeat process until all juices are mixed in. Then beat until mixture forms stiff peaks.


Step 10
After egg whites reach stiff peaks, scoop meringue batter into a ziplock bag or piping bag.



Step 11
Pipe meringues onto baking pan/tray.



Step 12
Bake at 175 degrees Fahrenheit for 1:30 hours

Turn oven off and leave to dry and cool down.

Serve and enjoy(only after it’s dry and not sticky).
