Line baking pan/tray with parchment paper or aluminum foil.

Prepare ingredients.

Mix sugar and egg whites, just until combined

Heat mixture of egg white and sugar in a double boiler or DIY double boiler. Mix until sugar is dissolved.

After sugar is dissolved (you can test by feeling the mixture between your fingers, it should feel smooth and sticky), remove from heat.

Preheat oven to 175 degrees Fahrenheit.

Beat egg white and sugar mixture with hand mixture on low speed until egg whites form soft peaks.
