Instructions
Step 1
Peel and chop the onion, garlic, red pepper, and green pepper. Cook at low heat. Add salt, black pepper, mixed herbs, and chilli flakes.
Step 2
When the vegetables are tender, add the smoked paprika and the tabasco and cook for a minute more.
Step 3
Add the meat and cook it until brown.
Step 4
Add the chopped tomatoes and a quick splash of red wine.
Step 5
Add the beans, the mushrooms, salt, pepper, and beef stock cube.
Step 6
Let it simmer until the sauce thickens but doesn't run dry (approx. 30 minutes).
Step 7
In the meantime, boil rice with a bit of salt.
Step 8
Serve the sauce and the rice next to each other.
