3 cupsflour
1 tspnbaking powder
0.5 tspnbaking soda
16 tblspnunsalted butter
softened
1 ½ cupssugar
2eggs
1 cupsour cream
2 tspnlemon zest
¼ cuplemon juice
0.5 tspnsalt
Glaze
Instructions
Step 1
Whisk flour, powder, soda, and salt together
Step 2
Beat butter and sugar at med-high speed until pale and fluffy (3 minutes)
Step 3
Add eggs (1 at a time) and beat until incorporated (30 seconds)
Step 4
Reduce speed to low and add sour cream and zest
Step 5
Beat until just combined
Step 6
Add dry to wet and mix until just incorporated
Step 7
Refrigerate 1 hr
Step 8
Drop balls onto cookie sheet
Step 9
Bake at 275° for 15 minutes
Step 10
Make glaze and frost when cool
