Salted Chocolate Covered Caramel

Salted Chocolate Covered Caramel 🍫 This is such an easy recipe but you must have a little patience. I was shocked to see how similar this simple recipe taste like the caramel treats I use to get down on. Enjoy the vibes. Ingredients: 1 can of sweetened condensed coconut milk 1 cup of dark chocolate morsels 1 Tbsp vegan heavy whipping cream (Silk makes a good one) Sea salt 1-2 Tbsp powdered sugar Parchment paper Silicone molds Step 1. Cook sweetened condensed coconut milk on low for 19 - 20 minutes. Stir once in a while to prevent sticking to the pan. Cook very low. Step 2. Allow the sweetened condensed coconut milk to cool for about 1 -2 minutes. Add heavy whipping cream and stir to incorporate. Step 3. Let the caramel cool for an additional 2-3 minutes, but not too long. Use a teaspoon, lightly coated with powdered sugar, to create small balls with the caramel. Place caramel balls onto parchment paper. TIP: Use powdered sugar on your fingers and sprinkle a little on the parchment paper so caramel will not stick. Step 4. Add melted chocolate to the bottom of your mold and allow to cool in the refrigerator for 10 minutes. Step 5. Add the small caramel balls to the mold. Gently press caramel into mold. Cover with melted chocolate and place back in the refrigerator for at lease 30 minutes. Step 6. Pop caramels out of mold. Add salt on top and enjoy!!
