Lets kick Summer off with one of my fsvorite summer drinks! I knew a sous chef back in the day with an amazing Agua Fresca recipe. I was never able to get the recipe from him and I was craving, so I attempted a recreation. Here is my version of Agua Fresca, great for the hot weather picking up!

Instructions
Step 1
Peel cucumber skin and discard
Step 2
Chop cucumbers into smaller manageable pieces
Step 3
Remove the leaves from strawberries
Step 4
Pick fresh mint leaves
Step 5
Make simple syrup by combining 1/2 a cup of sugar with half a cup of water
Step 6
In a blender combine all ingredients and blend on low for approximately 3-5 minutes
Step 7
Triple strain or until all impurities are gone. ( there shouldn’t be anything floating im the drink)
Step 8
Refrigerate. Will be good for up to 5 days. Serve over ice
