1 lblean ground beef
or turkey
3 TbspCarne asada seasoning
or Spice Islands Taco seasoning
1 tspsalt
½ tspcayenne
1 tspcrushed red pepper flakes
15 ozcan Black beans
or whatever beans call to you
1can fire roasted diced tomatoes
1 Tbspturmeric
1 ½ cupsrice
uncooked
2 cupswater
or broth enough to make rice
cilantro
for garnish
green onion

Instructions
Step 1
In a sauce pan, cook the onions and garlic until browned a bit.
Step 2
Add the ground meat and cook until mostly browned. Then add bell pepper, spices, beans, and tomatoes. Stir and allow to cook.
Step 3
Use the water/broth, rice, and turmeric to make yellow turmeric rice.
Step 4
Serve the meat and veggie mix over the turmeric rice!
