Mirin is a Japanese sweet rice wine that you can find in the Asian aisle of your supermarket. If you can’t find mirin, it’s ok to omit it from the recipe. This dish can be frozen whole including the rice, or the prawns can be marinated and frozen raw, ready for you to cook.
